Conversations
Conversations finds the mentions of your brand and your competitors in spoken media, validates each one and keeps earned and paid apart, so you can see what is said and whether it shows up in your brand tracking. Part of Brand Signal, in partnership with All Ears.

“We switched to Nova after the price change, and honestly it was easy.”

“Their app is the only one I actually open.”
Conversations finds the mentions of your brand and your competitors in spoken media, then transcribes and validates each one. They sit on the same brand list as your brand tracking, so what is said can be read against the panel in the same dashboard.
It covers podcasts, radio, TV and web TV, YouTube and short video. All Ears indexes around 50,000 hours of spoken media a day, and each mention is mapped to a market, even when language alone cannot tell.
It works as social listening for what is said, not for written posts, reviews or news. It is a supporting signal, read against representative survey data.
Every mention is flagged as sponsored or organic, and the two are reported apart. Earned brings organic mentions together with AI visibility, and paid brings sponsored mentions together with Ad Recognition from the survey, for your brand and every competitor on the same brand list.

Audio is noisy. A hit for “Apple” might be the brand or the fruit. Every mention passes six checks before it reaches your numbers, held to the same standard as our survey data.
01 · Speech to text
All Ears transcribes spoken media across podcasts, broadcast and video, so every mention can be searched and quoted.
02 · Brand detection
Your brand and your competitors are found in the transcripts with AI-assisted name searches.
03 · Market and language
A Swedish-speaking podcaster may be in Sweden or Finland. Each mention is mapped to the most likely market, even when language alone cannot tell.
04 · Topic relevance
Each mention is scored against the category topic. Off-topic hits are kept for audit and never counted.
05 · Brand verification
Topic score and name search are combined to confirm it is your brand, not a namesake.
06 · Earned vs paid
Ad reads, sponsored segments and paid collaborations are flagged, so earned reach and PR value are never mixed up with paid.
Brand Signal tracks every brand people choose between in your category. The same list runs through every method and every source, so each number is read against the same competitors.
Tracking, segmentation, positioning and campaign tests use the same respondents and the same brands. Run as separate projects, each with its own brand list, they cannot be read in order: a segment from one study has no place on the map from another.
Conversations and AI visibility are matched to the same brands as the survey, and new sources join the same list. You can follow Nova from the survey to spoken media to AI answers, against the same competitors each time.
We keep the set accurate. AI answers and spoken media show which brands outside the set are gaining recommendations and talk. We check them and add the ones people now choose between.
Communications, brand and insights teams ask different questions of the same mentions.
“Which channels carry our earned reach?”
See earned reach and PR value by channel, which shows carry the brand and how much of it was paid for.
“Does what is said about us match the position we are building?”
Check whether what is said about the brand matches the position you are building, and whether the talk reaches the short list.
“What drove our reach spike last month?”
Report spoken media next to the monthly tracker on the same brand list, and ask MixerMind what sits behind a movement.
